One of my overall favourite things of Ibiza are its sunsets, every day the sky surprises me with the blend of colours, with or without clouds, the sea and the sun bidding adieu until the following day.
I have enjoyed many sunsets in many places of Ibiza, some recondite, others romantic or festive or resorts …. And each and every one of them has been very special. These sunsets are not to be missed:
Mirador Es Vedrà: a beautiful veranda near Cala d’Hort, with spectacular views over Es Vedrà, Torre des Savinar, Formentera and the coast of the peninsula.
Cala Conta: turquoise waters imbue this coastal area, perfect for spending a good day at the beach and enjoying a beautiful sunset with a cocktail or just admiring the colours.
Benirràs: on Sundays the festival of drums is celebrated as a tradition, it is one the spectacles of the island that you definitely can not miss, hundreds of people watching the sunset together in this cove with a beautiful landscape and to the sound of music.
And whether you stay at Marina Palace or not, make sure to not miss the sunsets from Miramare Sunset Cockel-Bar, how many afternoons have I enjoyed there the peace and the magic of Ibiza, how much inspiration have I found for my typewriter and my stories.
